Announcing the world’s first television program devoted to student filmmaking, all made exclusively for Apple’s iTunes and video iPod. From a digital television transmission from the world of tomorrow comes the Student Film Showcase, or SFS TV. SFS TV is your source for today’s hottest student films from around the globe – available weekly and exclusively on Apple’s iTunes and video iPod. SFS TV also works with students to produce this program. On SFS TV, students have the opportunity to learn the craft of film and television production from mentors in Austin, Texas, Los Angeles, New York, and France, while helping to create the show themselves. Students write, produce, direct, and help edit each episode. The idea for SFS TV was born in Austin, Texas from a concept seen on the television program AMN SFS. From February 2004 – September 2005, AMN SFS aired weekly on the world’s only independent music channel, the Austin Music Network. In September 2005 the Austin Music Network was forced to sign off, along with their respective programming, after 11 years on the air. Crew Listing
